Life is Full of Seasons, Now is The Time to Plant Some Seeds
Life is full of seasons, and with every season comes change. Sometimes this change can be unexpected, joyous, challenging, relieving, or completely out of our control. There are growing seasons and harvesting seasons, and even time for stasis and rest. We often have the opportunity to plant seeds for the following season, knowing that with patience and care we will have a fruitful harvest later on.
So, what does it look like to plant a seed?
-Writing and email or making a phone call to someone you wish to connect with may lead to an opportunity to meet for coffee, which may lead to a friendship or professional relationship.
-Applying for a future opportunity or signing up for a class is a gift for your future self, and can lead you down new roads you may not have dreamed of in the past.
-Making a To-Do list for each area of your life can allow you extra space to acknowledge and commit to certain goals that may have been left off a more general To-Do list.
-Breaking the yearly calendar into quarters and setting seasonal goals can help you recognize relevant opportunities as they come up throughout the year.
We all work differently, but planting a seed is about taking a step in a positive direction. It is about putting something small into action that may grow into something bigger and better later on.
