Before you find new spaces to root, you must detangle the roots you’ve already established.
Many professionals find themselves with the desire to transition into new professional areas, yet are unsure what elements of their current professional success to leave behind and what to bring along. Oftentimes, before we can find new spaces to root we must clear away the debris and detangle the roots we’ve already established. In this transitional space, we may need to build up or prune parts of our current practices. We may need extra time and space for for self care and mindfulness. When rerooting our success in new ground, we want to be sure we are making room and providing support for our current selves to grow into our desired selves.
