Embracing the Power in Loss

There is a power is loss. Our culture has a very challenged relationship with loss, and for whatever the reason, we do not value loss. Many people do not see the benefit that loss may have, and they remain enthralled in acts of productivity and gain. But loss is an intrinsic part of change, evolution and development – with loss comes gain. It is a cycle that many feel as ungrounding, out of control.  But in our cultures collective attempt to find solid ground we have disconnected from the power of loss. Embracing this power can allow you to see the beauty of the entire cycle and benefit from its rhythm.
