Procrastination, thief or Process?

Thief of time, opportunity, and success- procrastination is seen as the unlikable counterpart to success. In our do-it-now-get-it-now world, procrastination is unwelcome and harshly judged. It is often seen as detrimental to success and synonymous with laziness, though more often stems from fears and anxieties than a lack of motivation.

The woes of procrastination come from its power to paralyse. When we aren’t actively doing, we may fall to the fatigue of uncompleted task or promise of an endless tomorrow. Focus on managing the fears and anxieties that cause the paralysis instead judging the process of procrastination. You may begin to see it as part of your success story rather than the thief it is thought to be.
