5 Necessary Steps to Make Change Happen
Change is inevitable, but making the changes you want to happen can sometimes feel impossible.
So what are the 5 steps to making change happen?
1. Acknowledge your desire for change
Write it down, meditate on it, or say it out loud to yourself or others. Getting your goals, dreams, and needs out of your head and into the world is the first step to making change happen.
2. Set an intension
Journaling about your goals and talking about your plans with others will help create a feeling of commitment to your goal. Spend time researching possible pathways to get there to feel more informed and confident going forward.
3) Plan & Prepare
Research ways to further educate about the subject or field of interest and look into the steps needed to take to reach your goal. Meeting with others who have already successfully made the journey you want to take can be very insightful as well. Most importantly, allocate time and space for change to occur.
4) Act
Take action by committing to educating yourself in the subject and building a network of others with the same goal. Remember that pushing through hurdles and overcoming new obstacles will build confidence and help you find your footing.
5) Reflect & Maintain
Connect to what’s working for you so far, and reflect on what isn’t. Make adjustment as needed to maintain progress and nurture the foundation you’ve built so far, its precious!
